La Belle Epoque is an era in French history towards the end of the 1800s in which optimism and joie de vivre blossomed. We pay homage to Courvoisier and Café Royal’s rich history shared during La Belle Epoque, both as the preferred haunt and libation of Paris’s and London’s high society, with a selection of six new cocktails and interiors that hark back to “the beautiful period”, in the hope of creating new, beautifully composed experiences for our guests to share.
Published in 1937 by the head bartender of the Café Royal, William J Tarling, the Café Royal cocktail book has since acted as a beacon for bartenders near and far.
